Bio

I’ve been making art for as long as I could pick up a crayon. I spent my childhood in rural New Jersey — biking along dirt roads, crossing soybean fields, chasing freight trains. As an adult, I’ve spent most of my time living/working/playing in and around New York City. I think that’s a pretty good mix.

Up until recently, I split my time between my art and a 30(ish)-year career in advertising at companies such as The Hunterdon County Democrat, Frankfurt Balkind, Atmosphere, BBDO, Moment Studio, and Deep Focus. Working as a designer to art director to creative director, I created award-winning campaigns for many brands such as GE, Target, Pepsi, AT&T, Purina, HBO, etc.

But then I quit all that to focus fully on my artwork.

My mediums include: drawing, painting, sculpting, photography, print making, poetry, music, film (note: I did not include dance).
