I know it’s important to stay in your lane with this type of thing, and there is really only one topic that I feel like I have any sort of true grasp, and that’s making art. Not the business of art, or the art world, or art history — just, you know, making it. I love talking about the creative process and what it means to be an artist, but even if you aren’t an artist yourself, I hope you’ll see what I see — that these art lessons are almost always life lessons as well. It turns out that what makes for good art-making often makes for good life-living.
